I ran into a dilemma the other day. See the problem goes as follows: I was playing online (of course) and I was innocent. everything was going well, until i decided to get some ammo. After entering the gun store i quickly grabbed a shotty and turned to get some ammo out of the case. now I entered the case, after getting the ammo i turned around. at this moment in time a person showed up behind me (for the sake of not pissing this person off mostly because they did everything in their rights) i turned around. the person was unarmed at the time, I decided to not attack. The person however blocked my path and decided to stay there, they then pulled a sniper out. I at this point felt uncomfortable however I had no time to try to warn him. He was very obviously aiming at my head, at this point I realized that he was a T, I then shot him to death. I ended the round right then and there, this was a mistake. I was reported and slain (I honestly am not very salty about this i really just want to know if I am all good in the way I play). I feel as though he was sus enough to KOS there was very little doubt in my mind. Now technically it was not false report, and I accepted the punishment. not even salty I just want to see if I need to modify my play style. I leave judgement to you. regardless of the results I will try to limit my instincts during games. I also will not try to accuse anyone of false reporting (after reviewing the rules I determined that it wasn't False Reporting however is till think this needs to be reviewed for the sake of future games).

depending on how long he was standing in the door, it really doesn't matter, considering it would be doorblocking. That's the rationale I'd use in this situation, but it depends on how long they sat in the doorway.

Players who doorblock and basically holding a threatening weapon (basically something that can one-hit on headshot), yes they can be killed for that. Not sure which of the staff had slayed you, but I can say they failed to review on the incident that occurred. Like no seriously, staff m8s, look at the bloody death scene before giving the slay, especially if the report response is a reasonable one... -.- And as for the traitor or rather anyone on the server, if you don't wanna get shot, don't block the fookin door!

he/she was door blocking however it was only for a couple of seconds so i just kind of ignored that. the real thing that triggered me shoot them was that they pulled a sniper out and aimed it at my head. I mean i would have just said stop door blocking and then waited a couple of seconds but then the person in question pulled a gun when they had no reason to. I wasn't aiming at them or anything they just pulled a gun out and aimed for my head. Of course the other problem was that even though i did explain the situation I still got slain and reported. Thing is I even told the person who reported me very specifically why I killed them and I also explained to the admin at the time. The other problem I had was that this person (though I never personally experienced it with them) was known for RDMing so I kinda feel like garbage since the admin at the time took the person who RDMs word over mine, I may be new but that is why he should have trusted me more than he did someone who is known for doing exactly what he was accusing me of. But honestly i am not salty about either of those things I just would like to hear the opinions of others who play on the server for the sake of making the game more fun for everyone, and so that I can understand the view points of other so that I can better modify my behavior to make it more fair for everyone else. That is why I am not report A. the person who reported me and/or B. the person who was admin at the time, since it honestly doesn't matter if they made a mistake what matters is that I don't make a mistake. In the end I can only control myself and it better to do something different than to try and make others do something different. I am not saying I will just let people do bad things or go against the rules, I am simply saying that if I don't have evidence or at least solid confidence that I was right then I am not going to argue the point, rather I will take action against the same or a similar situation arising. The situation, to make perfectly clear and to review was like this: I was in a cramped space and was trying to get ammo. I turned around and saw someone door blocking. I ignored it because it was only for a couple of seconds. The person pulled out a sniper (which didn't make me shoot right away), then they stopped moving and aimed in at where my head was. I then shot them to death. They proceeded to report me, after which I explained (they kept their report). I also explained to the admin at the time, I was slain for 2-3 rounds. one of the other ways i could tell that they were aiming at me was that after i shot they shot as if they thought they could kill me. The bullet hit near my head but not on it (of course or else this situation wouldn't have occured).

I just read my reply to your replies, and realized how many errors were made in that whole thing. Damn. Summer school really kicked the sh*t out of me. I wrote that reply just after I got home from it. I don't think I have ever made that many mistakes in a comment like that in my whole life. (btw in case you were interested it was algebra 2. It only happened because I didn't do my homework, I have a terrible work ethic when it comes to stuff I consider not amusing. So yeah, personal opinions got in the way again, hopefully it doesn't happen again.)
