Now listen, the last thing I wanted was to start drama. All I wanted was to have my killer rightfully slain 2 times for RDMing me on my T round. I gave them a second chance when nothing was done, and they still refused, so I decided this needed to be dealt with. Once again, I don't want to start drama, but I find this very unfair and I want justice! So let me start at the beginning. For me, Cathy America, it was my T round. We were on the map Dolls, and this round was starting to come to a close. Although there were SEVERAL (maybe 4 or 5) unidentified bodies, there was only one person left alive. That person was Vintage Mario2980, one of this server's head admins, that round's detective (or, at least, one of them). I bought my radar and I saw his location: under the bed on which the doll house sits, inside the air vents under said bed. I made haste and entered the vents. There lies Vintage sitting in the corner. He says something along the lines of "Hey, I don't trust you, leave the vents." *Please take note that this all occurred before overtime.* I stayed in there, trying to talk my way out of it, the smooth-talking Han Solo-type traitor I am. I say something like "Hey man, I'm not a T. You may not trust me, but can I get some health from that station right there?" Or, at least, that's what I was trying to say. But I couldn't finish, for mid way through, Vintage Mario2980 shot me dead. This was roughly 3 seconds after the warning he gave me, and this was the FIRST AND ONLY warning I received. Naturally, I reported him, saying he could not shoot me and kill me, for he had no sufficient evidence, he had only given one warning, I hardly had time to react, and it was still not overtime. He responded with something like "Sorry, but I was detective and I told you to leave. Detective's word is final." I kept the report and said in the chat "Hey, it doesn't matter, that is against the rules. You didn't have enough evidence to make a kill shot yet pal." Vintage, being the admin, then gave himself 0 slays. Walking into this situation, I expected 2 slays, as you receive for RDMing a T, but he didn't even take one. I spoke to him in chat for a while saying things like "Hey, could you please take your slays," or, "Hey man, killing me basically ended up losing us the game, please just slay yourself for RDMing me," but he didn't get slain. After a few rounds, I was starting to get pissed. He is a head admin, so he has the power to handle the reports, and the fact that he wasn't slaying himself after me asking several times and waiting several rounds got very irritating. So I entered a second report. This one retold the situation of him RDMing me, but it also said something along the lines of "I would like 2 slays for RDMing me on my T round, and a third for abusing your powers as head admin and seeing that you didn't get slain." It was around this time that another admin, Plumsauce the science b0ss, informed me that I could file a formal report on the website if I wanted some real action. I told him I would wait to see how this second report was handled, but I thanked him for his help. Second response comes in, "Hey, I didn't do anything, I warned you, etc." I select to keep the report, and I request it be handled by another admin. Plumsauce said he didn't want to get wrapped up in it, and I respect that. I believe the other admin on, True, wanted to stay out of it as well, and I respect that as well. Let me make this as abundantly clear as possible: These two other admins have been nothing but helpful to me, and the last thing I would ever want is to get them in trouble for this. I completely respect every decision they have made, and I think of Plum as one of the best people on the server, and one of the ones I enjoy the most (sorry, True, I haven't seen you on too much). Of course, that leaves one admin on to handle the report, Vintage Mario himself. And guess what: NOTHING HAPPENED! 0 slays. So, I took Plum's advice and I decided to file a formal report. The reason I filed it under admin abuse is because Vintage Mario is a head admin and was the highest ranking member on the server at the time. He had all the power to do what had to be done, but he decided to do nothing because it went against what he wanted and he had the power to do so. I think this is an abuse of power, and it made him, in that moment (note I said in that moment, because I don't know what he's usually like), no better than any other common RDMer on this server or any other. The only difference is that he had the power to avoid being punished. I think that is a clear abuse of power and a violation of the server's rules. There is my rant, I tried to make it as detailed as possible to avoid confusion or unwanted drama. As I said before, the last thing I wanted was to start drama, but I gave him 2 warnings and he refused to do anything. I will let one of the higher ranking members of the server decide what punishment fits this crime, so I will not put a specific one down here. Thank you for reading this, I hope you see this as a formal report and not some rage rant. If you want to confirm this story, I have at least 2 sources who will agree with what has been said here listed below (I asked their permissions to use their names.)

Just saying. ^^ I would like to start off my perspective by clarifying that I do not wish to obscure any relationships or well beings of other, I just want to say what I saw. I am not siding with anyone, but I was there and I feel like I should share what I saw to help clear up the situation smoother and quicker. My perspective was slightly different than Cathy, but maybe it is because Cathy was of the living and actually apart of the situation, and I was just a bystander. Friendly, Cathy and Mario were living. Cathy and Friendly were Traitors, and Mario was detective. Mario had taken damage of some sort and was trying to heal himself in the vents. Cathy walked in and Mario said you need to get out of the vents. Cathy tried to talk to him but he made no progress. Mario then said you have until the count of 3 to get out and in under a second he said 1 2 3 into his mic and killed Cathy. I wouldn't really consider this RDM or abuse, but I would also certainly not call it fair because in the time Mario had counted to three, Cathy had little to no amount of time to react. I was originally not going to say anything, but Cathy's story was much different than what I saw. Though I feel like Mario's quick countdown was unfair, Cathy was warned before he did the countdown and could have taken advantage of that instead of trying to smooth talk Mario. Mario was on edge with being shot and I feel like he acted as anyone would have under pressure, and Cathy acted as anyone would have trying to win the game. Unfortunately the situation was poorly handled and it was taken to the forums instead of just being quickly resolved in game. I feel like the outcome of this situation would be different if it had been any user without staff powers vs. Cathy, but that could also just be my personal opinion. Unfortunately players assume staff is mistreating you when really they are doing what they would do normally, but also unfortunately some staff dodge their own punishments or punish you more than normal because you infringe their gameplay instead of some normal player. It really could go both ways and it just depends on how you look at it. Hopefully this helps resolve the situation better. -SparkleCat |

Secondly, Are you sure you've read up on the rules?
Rule 30 States : "30. The detective can order you around. For example, if the detective wants you to leave the room, you must do so.
However, the detective cannot make crazy, absurd requests like "Kill yourself," or "Jump off that cliff".
Failure to follow a detective's request is considered T baiting."
This rule states that Mario, "The Detective" at the time had the right to shoot you, since you failed to comply with his orders.
Furthermore, Mario did not RDM you.

Furthermore, Mario did not RDM you. I believe there is also a rule that states they must give 3 warnings if they want to give you a kill shot. However, the RDM is not what I am mad about (however he did give me VERY little time to react). The reason I am mad is because if it were ANYONE else on the server who did this, whether it be Friendly, Sparkle, Plum, or even myself, they would've seen a punishment. Because Mario had the power to choose how this was handled, it saw NO punishment. I then repeated myself, filing another report, showing that what I believed happened was truly RDM. Had I done that to anyone else, I know the fantastic admins on this server would've done something about it. But once again, Mario had the power, and he chose to do nothing because it conflicted with his personal interests. I WOULD'VE EVEN BEEN FINE WITH HIM TAKING 1 SLAY! That is why I am mad. I'm not just some butthurt kid who needs to learn how to play the game, I am just someone who wishes to further their relationship with this community, and I want what is best for it. And I know that sometimes means making the hard call, I get it. But when several people are telling somebody they should take 2 or 3 slays, there are 2 reports filed that are left as unforgiven, and there is not any punishment, I think there is a problem with that. 20. If you are making somebody uncomfortable by aiming at them, following them, or getting too close they may ask you to back away and stop. After multiple warnings, they assume the right to kill you without being traitorous.

Cathy,
Here's the call. Mario did not rdm you, so there was no room for punishment. If this circumstance had been more severe, such as Mario rdming you repetitively and declaring it as not rdm, there would be a severe punishment. I've Talked with other unbiased sources, and they said the same thing: mario did not rdm. Therefore, there shouldn't be a punishment.
