i can't buy anything in the point shop it lets me buy then it dosn't give me anything and dosn't use my points

You can only buy items from the point shop when you are alive.

Also, the free skins on the pointshop are for Gold Donators only.

There should be a little User Group icon next to the item you're attempting to buy.
  <- Something like this

Those indicate they're restricted to donators.
The tabs that are only donators are
-Weapons
-Donator hats
-Some of the followers
-Some of the Player models (The ones that cost 0 points)
